What is Find Your Light?
Find Your Light is a musical theatre intensive program designed to make the student a well-rounded performer. This program prepares you to audition for productions and college programs around the country and helps you build a career in musical theatre. It also gives you the opportunity to audition for our full-scale, professionally-trained, Conservatory Production each season.
Some topics covered in the workshops are:
Audition techniques and etiquette
Musical theatre history
Repertoire – finding that PERFECT song
Acting through song work
Specialized workshops with industry professionals
Determining “type” and finding the unique qualities about oneself that gets one noticed and cast
Creating a regiment for living and sustaining a career as a working actor
We never want students to miss out on educational opportunities for financial reasons!
Financial aid is available for FYL 2024!
HOW IT works
Step 1: Register and audition
Submit the registration form, including a link to a video audition.
This video is used to assess your current abilities to determine if you are good fit for the Find Your Light program.
Please record yourself performing a 1 minute segment of a musical theatre piece of your choice with accompaniment.
A cappella submissions are not allowed.
Step 2: Wait for audition results and payment
After your video submission has been reviewed, you will receive an email notifying you of your admission determination. If you have been admitted to the program, a link to a secure store page will also be included for payment. Pay the course registration fee and mark the dates on your calendar!

Waitlist Policy:
Audition submissions are processed on the date they are received. Once the class is full, if the student is accepted, they will be placed on a waiting list. Applicants will be notified if slots become available.
Cancellation Policy:
If you withdraw from the program after payment has been made, you may receive a full refund prior to April 1st, 50% refund prior to May 1st, and no refund after June 1st.
